About Me

My name is Keenan Drake Erickson. I consider myself a health coach first and foremost. Yes, I am a Personal Trainer, Track and Field Coach, Mobility Specialist, etc. . . but at the end of the day- my interests lie in helping people with their health.

My interest in health began in High School where I was lucky enough to stumble into Track and Field and be coached by some of the best coaches around. Not coaches that produced the winning-most team, but instead coaches that offered a variety of communication strategies, endless patience, and an emphasis on the importance of sport for mental health and growth. 



After falling in love with Track and Field for two years, I decided to continue competing in Track and Field at the collegiate level where I was further mentored by coaches and upperclassmen that taught me very quickly about sport at a high level, but more importantly how to be a leader. Simultaneously, I was earning my degree in Exercise Science where I was able to study the human body within sport and all ranges health and aging. ​


​Within my working career I have largely split my time between Health and Wellness Coaching and Secondary Education. Whether I am personal training in the gym, leading high school track teams through activities, or teaching teenagers English as a Second Language, I'm regularly reminded of the concepts taught to me by my mentors over the years. Coaching and Teaching are all the same. Thoughtful listening, common understanding, and effective communication remain the core of my career. ​
